What type of fuse should I use?

Hello, I have a glow plug (for nitro r / c cars) on a sub rechargeable 1000mAh C. I need a fuse on the + side when short. There is no room for a normal bus or ATC fuse. Is there a component that can be used as stand alone (as a resistor in line to the voltage drop for an LED) that I need something that will blow so short. scope hand with a soldering iron and basic electronics I'am, do not be afraid to go technical on me. Thank you very much, Brad Sorry, I used a cable TV connector contact center base. The moves a little, so I do not know if it touches the side - and melt. It works very well but I put in my pocket, I do not want surprises. Thank you again

if there is no place for a fuse, so you should make room for Substitute a fuse will be greater, you can use a thermistor ... there are a wide range of PTC, which are designed to switch to high impedance if the current exceeds the trigger value or watch Polyswitch but typical load currents or current fuse plug is easier
