When the doctor gave you the GREEN LIGHT what table foods did you start feeding your baby first?
My son just turned 9 months & the doctor said I could start feeding him some table food. I brought some of the yougurt melts & puffs from the store & he loves them. He is trying to start picking things up with his two fingers & he is getting better at it. I'm just wondering what table foods did you start feeding your baby first?
My baby is 9 months and I have been given the ok for pretty much anything that we eat as long as it isn't salty or spicy & is blended in the food processor based on your childs chewing ability.
Foods for baby:
Oatmeal
Yobaby or Dannanino yogurt
Gerber yogurt melts and puffs
Mashed sweet and regular potatoes
Pureed carrots, apples, pears & Stage 2-3 baby foods
I also have this great product (looks like a little net bag that snaps closed with a handle) that allows you to put chunks of fruit like cantelope or watermelon which are really juicy and great for teething baby's, they can suck on it but takes away the worry of choking.
Still no milk, eggs, honey, peanut butter, fish are allowed
