Chalk Shimmers

Can eyeshadow safe to decorate cakes or flowers of ice?
Can eyeshadow be used for decorating icing flowers as you would with chalk? I guess it is non-toxic if it can go over your eyes. I think it is much less expensive and there are many colors shimmer in eyeshadows. I tried it today and it looks great on the flowers that I made. Is it sure to be eaten? Surely it could not be worse than eating chalk
No, no, no, no! The dyes are labeled according to security: an F in the description means that it is safe to use in foods, a D means it can be used in medicines and cosmetics is C - which means that on your skin, not ingested. The dyes and pigments eyeshadow are not labeled "FD". So no, you can not swallow safely. Also, think of where the light comes from - the more shadows Use of shimmering mica - a glittery rock, essentially - or different metals, some of which are highly toxic when ingested. Titanium carbon dioxide, for example, has a risk rating of 8 (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most dangerous) and is found in almost all shades of eyeshadow in my makeup box. For this kind of danger, I'd rather spend a little money and use two dyes or actual food safety (non-toxic, untreated) flowers. Or if you insist on going the cheap route, buy reusable plastic flowers. They can not be eaten, but they will always look nice and it is unlikely anyone poison.
