March fishing ice is gone are the fish biting ?
In new jersey the ice is gone now but the tempertures are at a constant 50 degrees are the fish Vito g hopefull we start getting into the 80s temperture
Shoot, I knew we had a bit of a time difference between New Jersey and Alaska, but I didn't realize it was THAT much. It's still February here in Alaska and we still have ice 3 feet deep in my neighborhood. However, the fish are biting here, so I will assume they don't know about the time differences between you and us and that they will be biting there as well. One thing about fish I noted a LONG time ago is that they do eat all year round. The trick to master to get good at catching them is to know what they want and when they want it. When you have figured that out, you will KNOW the fish are biting, 'cause you will be CATCHING! Just like you and I, some days they want a Double Whopper (or two) and some mornings they just might want a light brunch or snack. Experience learned from trial and error will tell you what, when, and how. It isn't a quick or easy lesson to learn, but is sure as heck is a fun one. So go as often as you can, and bring a variety of options. I KNOW that one of them will work, and finding the right one is just a process of elimination. Go for it and have fun.
