Why don't black men take care of their children?
I know that the mother has greater incentive to pursue Medicaid and Food Stamps (which are more reliable than black men) but what happens to the black man's paternal instincts?
White men seem to WANT to take care of their kids, regardless of the economics involved. Why did black men evolve to not want to be around their own chilldren?
Alright, now that all of the BULL is out of the way, from all of the people who are accusing you of being racist......
WAKE UP, PEOPLE! The modern perception is EXACTLY what this person is asking! I have been a Black man a LONG TIME- and I'M TELLING YA'LL that it's the PERCEIVED truth!
With all of that said....
It has a basis in sociological and historical reasons, and it also was aggravated by desegregation. The bLack male is MADE to feel useless ("Last hired, first fired!"). he is marginalized, disrespected, not very well taught by American public schools, and emasculated. He is made to FEEL useless! Disagree? Why is it that back prior to the Civil Rights movement, Black fathers were raising families, working respected jobs, and so on? And the President is NOT a good example of what is really happening in the Black communities of America!
