They are small, round balls about the size of a BB. I tested with a fridge magnet and they are not magnetic - which leads me to believe that it is of course not lead and steel. Looking closely, they have almost a 'design' on them, as an octagon (octahedral?) would look like - as if they were stamped, etc. I Found 5 of them all in one section of meat. Lead paint was banned for decades and with all these recent discussions on lead Chinese toys ... well ... I find in my store bought beef! Should I report this elsewhere, even after getting my refund? Is this common? I glad I was slicing meat thinly, otherwise it would definitely chip a tooth or easily ingested ..... : (

Really? How strange! (Considering that the meat sold in stores and mass marketing is not fired!) I would definitely save tablets and return to the market I bought it. They must be aware of this and perhaps get the rest of the beef. This could pose a number of risks, choking with it especially with small children. I would also like to get all the information you can from where you bought it - ask the name of the place that provides the meat and any write. Make sure you photograph what you found too. I would also like consider contacting the company's meat because it is very, very strange.
