i could hardy tree plant to form a windbreak quickly?
I put away my allowance and strong winds could do with ideas on which trees or shrubs might do the job quickly.
NOT Leylandii - yes, they grow quickly to 60 feet and more, but you really do not want that! An allowance is not your land and you can find that there are restrictions on the type and size of trees, you can plant - if and when you give up your allowance, the Council or the following parcel owner does not want to remove huge trees at great expense. Remember they grow outward and upward, so they take over a large amount of your property as well as physical whare beside you plant them. As their roots will spread and take food at once exemplary and adjoining areas, in addition to shadowing surrounding plots may be more acceptable to other producers of vegetables like sun and fruit. If you need a windbreak, put in a fence - need not be greater than 2 meters tall at the most, will be instant, giving refuge where you need this season future, does not place itself, will not remove all the nutrients in your soil, you could plant climbing up or use it to your house so I surrounded my tomato patch with a screen 1 meter high in Enviromesh, supported by bamboo canes pushed through sewn into the mesh, and it lasted several years and made an extraordinary difference in the ecosystem of the plot, even at this height. Even better, establish a windbreak screen made of reeds or bamboo, attached to a wooden frame, or use certain things in plastic screening special, you can get to this end. These arrangements allow a little air and light through screening while the wind force, are less likely to blow over so if the messages are not really sunk in concrete on the ground - I expect your rules to award you forbid to install a permanent fence, ie one that has concrete bases for posts. Whatever you decide to do, it would be a good idea to check your plans with the council, or whoever manages the plots, before going ahead with planting a hedge or permanent to establish a strong fence - you do not want to retire when your neighbors complain about the plot!
