How do I set a square dining table? The place mats seem to overlap at the table corners.?
It's an 8 place setting table.
You could try setting the placemats normally on two opposite sides and turn the placemats the opposite way on the other two sides. You will have to change the place setting of your plates on those two sides, but it can be nice not having it set formally and uniform..otherwise, you can use placemats on two opposite sides and no placemats on the other two sides..it is ok to change it up.
