where can i find a one day behind the wheel driving class?
i'm 19 so i don't need to do the whole thing i drive with my mom in the car or a friend and i haven't died yet or got pulled over by the cops and my mom thinks i'm ok to go but will the state of california think so? one of my co-workers suggested i go to a driving school for like one day and get their stamp of approval before i go do my test but i cant find one online they are all 8 lesson or 16 lesson and so on i just need one day to check if i'm ok for the test do any of you know of a place like that?
oh and just one more thing how many road test can i take without paying again i'm sure its just one but my mom swears up and down its 3 and i tell her no that's just for the written whatever mom!
and yes i do have my permit.
I trust that you have a learner's permit. I don't think that you will find a driver's school that has a 'quickie' 1-day course, at least one that they would sign off on. You are over 18, so you don't need to have formal driver training (e.g. from a school). When you feel confident and competent enough to do the road test, go for it. Remember that you have to have a licensed driver with you when you go to test.
According to the '10 CA Driver's Handbook, you pay for each time you road test.
