stupid to use only the first letter of two last names?
never been to a wedding so i don't know how they do it. what if groom has TWO last names that the bride is changing to? Like - Smith - Carney or Ellison - Smith. Seen cake toppers with just one letter. Does it look dumb to just use the first letter of the his last name as monogram, cake topper, invites, aisle runner etc. So for example just the "S" from Smith - Carney or the "E" from Ellison Smith? Know it seem like something insufficient to some, but just want to know what's usually done. thanks.
It would look silly to only use one of his surname initial since his surname is Name-Name, not just Name. At the reception, if the bride has decided to change her name, then her initial shouldn't be on the cake since she is no longer Jane Maiden, but is now Jane Name-Name.
