Travel Time?
Is this asking too much?
My bf and I grew up in different parts of our state. As a result, our family and friends are situationed in those areas. Our hometowns are about an hour from each other.
I'm from a Catholic family and my parent's want me to be married in the church of my hometown. This is convenivent for my family, but would require travel for my bf's.
In addition, we decided to have the reception in his hometown. It was the best reception hall for our wedding size and price.
Now that would require travel from my family and his would have to make the trip from the church and back.
Overall, the distance from the church to the reception hall will be an hour. Is this too much travel for our guests.
There are no reception halls in my area that we are able to afford. So, this works best for us. But, I'm worried about our guests.
i dont think that an hour is too much travel for anyone.... besides if u have the reception at a different location then both families will have to drive..... i think that it would be fine... they r not going to give up seeing u get married because they might have to sit in a car for an hour.... look at the people who get married internationally... they travel for days to see people get married.... they will jsut have to suck it up and get over it.... good luck and congrats♥
