Will not wearing my rubber bands on my braces for a few days set me back?

I have had braces for almost two years now and I just got rubber bands about two weeks ago. I wore my bands religiously for the first week and a half but then last saturday (today is tuesday) I lost my entire package of bands at work. I tried to get more monday but my dumb ortho was closed. I finally got some around noon today and stuck them right on. my ortho told me this is the last stage of getting my braces off so I want to know if not wearing them for the few days set me back a long time for getting my braces off.

no it really doesnt matter. i wore my rubberbands for a month straight and then stopped for about another 2 months and i got my braces off about 4 months earlier than expected, no lie
