What makes the engine sports car expensive?
Hello, I want to know why the engine sports car manufacturing is more expensive than the versions normal? I mean, the same materials are used in both of them (steel, aluminum, rubber, ..), and the final weight must be close one car to another, but the price difference is still significant. I heard that the precision involved in making motors sports cars is higher, but is this the only reason? Finally, there are many car manufacturers that do not sell powerful sports cars, is it because they lack the technology to do? Or is it just a marketing decision? Thank you all for your help!
